There has been a series of burglaries in our neighborhood lately.  Just 2 nights ago, my next door neighbors were surprised to find their house broken into while they were out with friends.  A few years ago we couldn’t have imagined this happening in our place but these are difficult times and people just resort to anything to get what they need in any means possible.

Cameras are a different matter though, you can install as many as you want and place them in different locations.  You will need a television and recorder or you can hook them up into your computer.  Although this can be a more expensive feature, there are a lot of benefits you can get from it.  For one, people will be discouraged to trespass upon your property or home if they see that there are cameras installed because they can be identified.  Aside from this, if ever a burglar can successfully enter your house, everything will be recorded by the cameras so it will be easier to identify him and determine your losses.

I’d like to think that I have the Best Home Security System.  I have installed cameras outside of the house and in every room, and all the windows and doors have sensors.  Aside from this, my security system control panel is connected to my phone lines so if the sensors are triggered, it automatically calls the police.  I have spent a lot on its installation but I am more confident now and I never have to worry about my house being burglarized.
